As an engineering student at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, I have taken many courses in mathematics, however, engineering wasn't my passion. My true passion is working with young people. As a former Director of Education for the Boys and Girls Clubs of Central Alabama, I have tutored children in mathematics for nearly 10 years! Currently, I am the Director of the Boys and Girls Clubs of West Alabama. My career is based around working with youth and helping children in their problem areas, especially mathematics.

A Little Bit About Me...

I do not have a particular teaching style because I don't believe that a single method works for everyone. Therefore, I operate from an Occam's Razor perspective -- whatever is the simplest solution is the best. I believe I am very empathetic and perceptive, which would enable me to determine what works best for each student.
Admittedly, I have no direct (structured) teaching experience.
