I am warm, patient and accessible. I am capable of presenting concepts in diverse forms. All doubts and questions are answered using daily, commonplace examples that help the student comprehend a biological concept and not just memorize it for a test. During and at the end of each session, I use indirect and direct questioning to check the level of comprehension acquired and build on it. I check other skills such as reading and writing which may be interfering with the student's performance. I love teaching biology and I wish everybody would at least see how relevant it could be in life. A Little Bit About Me...

I have always had a deep appreciation for knowledge and education. I hold a BS in Marine Science (Oceanography), through which I took many high level science and math courses. I recently completed an MS in Environmental Science and Policy from the University of South Florida, where I formulated and conducted my own research project. I also wrote a professional research paper which will be published this year. At USF, I taught Environmental Science laboratory classes and received excellent reviews from my students.
