A Little Bit About Me...

As the graduate of a difficult field of science, I spent a great deal of time studying and developing better methods for studying. I have become very knowledgeable in science and applied science through my degree field. I have also spent much time reading and writing scientific articles, which has made me proficient in English, general literacy, and writing. Throughout my college career, I have been tutoring and leading study sessions in science.
I think that learning is subjective. Every person will have the opportunity to learn if they have an instructor that can meet their needs. I work well with children, young adults, and adults. My degrees have taken me places that I never thought they would. I was excited to teach English in a school in Costa Rica for one year. There I was able to learn Spanish quickly as well as help elementary school children learn English. I taught grammar as well as science. I also tutored on the side in all subjects. Previous to this experience I tutored a fourth grader in geography, history, and spelling. In college I used many skills that helped me to prepare for teaching. A short list of these skills is math, creative writing, computer skills, memorization, and art work.
