Excellent English Student, Looking to help others excel

The teaching style that I use has been my method of learning for the past twenty years. Memorization, creativity, and fun all help people learn better. When the work is boring, the mind shuts down and gets distracted. When learning is turned into fun, it is a lot easier for the student to remember everything that they were taught, because they can correlate that specific moment in time with what was being taught.
I have always been an excellent English student, including reading, grammar, spelling, and writing, to name a few. All throughout grades school, I received exceptional grades, especially in language arts and English. I have received awards recognizing my writing, speaking, spelling, and grammar. I have three children who my wife and I have homeschooled over the past ten years. I have an associates degree of applied science and criminal justice and a bs in interdisciplinary studies with an emphasis area on criminology, sociology and business. Not only being a teacher, tutor and mentor to my children I have also taught Sunday school for grades first through fifth. I help mentor teenagers from the church during the summers. My entire background revolves around teaching. I taught in a Preschool while I was working on my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. While there I worked with all ages from Infants to the School Age children. After completing my degree I then went to teach in a public school.
