Creative Writing is one of my top subjects! I took a creative writing class for two years in high school. I feel that I have a very creative mind and I have good writing composition. I received an A in the class both years.

I am now a sophomore at Germanna Community College. I have taken Algebra, Biology, English, Contemporary Mathematics, and various psychology courses. I am continuing to take more math and science classes. As a high school student I took Algebra I and II, Biology, Duel Enrollment English, and various other courses. I have received high grades in the classes I have mentioned. I feel that the college courses are my strongest points, but high school English and Algebra are strong points for me as well. I have tutored various friends, mostly in Algebra. I have a college GPA of 3.8 and I am in an honor society. My comments on tutoring Creative Writing : I have taught several sections of creative writing; in addition I am a published poet and have several writing projects underway.

My instructional experience includes over 230 credit hours of composition and language arts instruction, including creative writing, literary analysis and Shakespeare. However, most of the instruction has been focused on composition. I developed a bachelor level English course for Pearson Education, working as a writer on a team of three; the course was deployed nationally at over 100 campuses.
Interactive! Students need to apply what they have learned, to reinforce the learning cycle.

All Things Writing!!!

In Writing... I generally give my students a mild assessment to see how I can best help them. I also conduct all of my own lesson planning. However, I am certainly accustomed to helping students with current academic work they may already have from their current classes. The first thing that I typically help students do is get pass the creativity block (if needed). Even I, like all writers have suffered from the inability to start my essay because I didn't know what to write about or how to collect ideas for my topic.
