Hearing Impaired is one of my top subjects! Providing tutoring for those interested in learning sign language. I am a verbal Deaf user of Sign Language.

My focus is teaching/tutoring American Sign Language. My experience includes teaching Sign Language classes in ministries, providing Mom and Child lessons, and Providing lessons for early childhood facilities. After building your vocabulary of signed English, we can them move on to learning the language. This stage will include attending Deaf functions to have opportunities to meet and chat with others who are Deaf.

I earned my BA in English from Rhode Island College and took extensive coursework in Computer Information Systems. Since 2001, I have been working at Bradley Hospital in East Providence. As of April 2003, I have been working in a self-contained special education classroom for students with developmental disabilities and behavioral/emotional issues. In 2005, I took extensive coursework in Secondary Education, but was not able to complete my teaching degree due to financial issues.

As a recent graduate of Salve Regina University, I am eager to continue my work with early childhood and elementary students. I have volunteered in a Head Start preschool.
