I take a hands on material approach to learning/teaching. I believe in talking through problems using visual ideas and simplified concepts. I prefer teaching with graphics and concepts, and then relating them to formulas and equations. In my experience with teaching, I find that the best way to connect and convey the information is to provide aural, visual and experiential exposure to the material.
