Physics is one of my top subjects! I loved this class I passed it with an A understood everything without asking questions.

I tutor my mom with college math when I was in middle school. I also helped my cousin when I was in middle school with all her subjects in high school. Now I am helping my sister with her elementary classes. I am more invovled with math since I did welding as a technical degree. I also did we'll in science and social studies because my welding teach was an ex- marine and ex- science teacher.

I believe in talking through problems using visual ideas and simplified concepts. I prefer teaching with graphics and concepts, and then relating them to formulas and equations. While I expect hard work from my students, I also have the patience to help them understand at their own pace.
I am a currently a working civil engineer specializing in bridge design (steel and concrete structures). I received scores of 760 in Math on both the SAT I and II, and a score of 800 in Math on the GRE's. I am energetic and involved. I am a strong believer in the use of visual and other aids. I feel the best teaching can occur when it is interactive. I am highly computer literate, and regularly interject this medium.
My experience is principally in marine research. In such, I have taught at three universities. Most recently I have been giving scheduled seminars for several years. I am semi-retired. My science background is mult-disciplinary. I enjoy most teaching ecology (both marine and terrestrial), geology, biology, physics, and chemistry. I have worked in this field on the west coast for twenty years, and about fifteen on the east coast. My principal fields of work have been geo-physics, and population ecology.
