I feel after all these wonderful years that I can assist any student who wants to learn as well as those who think they don't. My style depends sometimes on each indiviual's need. As a classroom teacher and a tutor I have experienced tremendous success due to the fact that I am always at work and always early, I thrive on education and wathcing children develop,and nobody on Earth loves teaching much more than I do. I always try to be very patient and supportive when I'm tutoring. I am a strong believer in the Socratic method of teaching, which from my understanding, means asking the student questions regarding what they already know about a concept in order to customize the lesson and/or "lead" them to the answer. I also try to use analogies and real life examples that are tailored according to the interests of my student. For example, if my student is interested in sports, then I try to use sports analogies and examples to describe difficult concepts. If my student is interested in science, then I use science analogies and examples, etc. I also try to break down complex concepts into smaller "pieces" so that I can help my student analyze and understand the concept one piece at a time. At the tender age of 25 I have already been admitted into the California State Bar as an attorney. I graduated from the University of California, Irvine earning my Bachelor's degree, with cum laude honors, in only 3 years. Shortly thereafter I attended Southwestern Law School where I was a member of the Trial Advocacy Honors Program. I am an excellent writer with exemplary grammatical and communication skills.
