I excelled in both math and English tracks in high school, and when they ran out of math classes I could take, I started on computers. Adept High School Mathematics Tutor. Algebra to Precalculus

When teaching a student, i try to help them understand the concept of the lesson before trying to explain the procedure. Once i have explained the concept to them, I show them how to work out the problem. Once I have walked them through a few problems, I let them try to do a couple on their own, until they get stuck. When they get stuck I try to reinforce the concept, while not actually helping the student work out the problem, unless it is neccesarry.
I am a recent graduate of Rosamond High School. During my time there I took math all the way up to AP Calculus. I took the AP test, and am awaiting the results. I seek to bring understanding to and appreciation for math.

My tutoring experience isn't really too official. I mostly just help people with College Algebra around the dorms. I am pretty good with teaching and helping with math, and could probably do it at a High School level. Not actually having a BS probably will just limit me to high school tutoring. With the people skills I have developed working as an Resident Assistant I know I can be effective in helping high school students in math, biology, french, and chemistry.
I really like to help people in general, that's the reason why I became a Resident Assistant. As a Resident Assistant I have aided many students with problems they may have in their first year of college, including tutoring them in subjects i am proficient in. I am Chris, a recent graduate of Thomas Edison State College. I began my college life at the local community college, the Antelope Valley College in Lancaster, California. There, after two years of preparation, I decided to apply for admission to Cal State University Northridge.
