I have been working with children my whole school career from a Kinder Helper in fifth grade, a PAL (Peer Assistant Leader) in high school, and to a synchronized swimming coach today. I am about to walk the stage at the University of the Incarnate Word holding a B.A in History with honors, also with a minor in Psychology. I design the lesson to the learning preference of the student. I incorporate technology, visual, tactile and kinesthetic teaching styles. This gives the student the maximum opportunity to learn. If a student is having trouble with reading comprehension there are various skill sets a child learns in order to help with standardized tests. I have experience in that area.
