Experience Summary
I have been working with children my whole school career from a Kinder Helper in fifth grade, a PAL (Peer Assistant Leader) in high school, and to a synchronized swimming coach today. I find history incredibly interesting and want to help others feel the same way about it. It is a story that needs to be shared. I took AP history classes in high school. I am about to walk the stage at the University of the Incarnate Word holding a B.A in History with honors, also with a minor in Psychology. On top of studying basic US History and World History, I have also studied a great range of topics in history including: Victorian Era to Modern America, Consumer Culture, Industrial and Innovative America, History of Afghanistan, and the History of Russia. I also did an Internship at Ft. Sam Houston over World War One. My future plans are to teach through being a museum docent or curator.
