A Little Bit About Me...

I love to see a person understand something they have been trying so hard to understand. I know that all people are going to learn differently and that I have to determine how a particular person learns. I am a very patient person, and I know that if a person is not understanding a subject, I just need to find another way to explain it. Every student has the capability to learn.
I hold a BS degree in Mathematics from Salisbury University, where I regularly tutored my peers in various math subjects, physics, and chemistry. I also studied Spanish, with which I can still carry a basic conversation. I also taught English to Spanish-speaking immigrants through the Worcester County Board of Education for about 6 months.

My level of education can best be described as PhD candidate with all but defense, at SUNY Binghamton. My anticipated advanced degree is in organic synthesis. During the period I have been a graduate student I tutored all manner of chemistry, worked as a teaching assistant, taught organic chemistry for Kaplan and carried out my dissertation research which involved experimentation.
