After college, I taught preschool for a year. I have always enjoyed working with children but this was my first opportunity to teach. I find that children learn better with a hands-on approach. I tried to make sure that everything I taught the children in my class was taught in an interactive, hands-on way. I allowed the children to work together and even teach each other at times.
