I am patient, go at the students level, and believe in the use various types of visual aids and hands on to keep my students engaged. Students learn and retain information quicker with continual repetition; however each student will grasp the information different from another and some will take more repetition than others.
I have been working with special needs students with various disabilities for 10 years. I have worked with students ranging from ADHD/ADD to those who are bed ridded and need toileting assistance. I have also had to accommodate with feeding and those who are transitioning out of high school. My comments on tutoring Microsoft Office : I worked as an office manager for 5 years and have 10 years experience with Microsoft Office. I am proficient in Word, PowerPoint, Excel and experienced with Access.
