For that reason, I ask a lot of questions to ensure that a student is not just learning by rote, but understands a topic within its larger context. In that way, he or she is learning not only how to solve a particular problem or answer a specific question, but also how to apply it to other problems in the future. To understand science all you have to do is look around you and ask questions. Science is a hands on subject, when you can touch something, feel it, watch it shine it will stick in your memory.
