As a music graduate of Morehead State University, I was very much driven to achieve a level of excellence in education. I earned my BS is Music Education and have completed additional coursework required for re-certification. I have substiute taught many classes and did a long term position teaching 6th grade science. While teaching music for three years, I also worked as a tutor for Sylvan, where I gained tutoring skills. I also privately tutored in my home in the subject of math. As a child, I entered the gifted program very young and have always tutored my peers. Tutoring led me to join the Quiz Bowl and other Academic Teams as well as led me to graduate high school early.
