My comments on tutoring Creative Writing : Help with organization, content, proofreading, editing. Vocabulary building to keep your writing fresh and interesting.

I believe that grammar and punctuation are critical in written expression. I am very focused on the learning style of the student and will begin with most student making that determination and connection with the student. I also work well with students who are dyslexic, have ADD/ADHD, and who are left-handed. I attempt to build a relationship with the student so that are willing to listen, learn, and work to master their assignment and/or skill. Meeting students where they are academically and not "where they are supposed to be." Allow the student to lead the way and discover the answers and pathways to knowledge and skill.

My comments on tutoring Creative Writing : I have alos taught my children to write creatively. I emphasize writing alsmost daily, using vivid descriptive language and including dialogue to make the story plot flow. Writing with passion and about topics that you're passionate about is something I also stress.

I received my training from Cedarville University, Wright State University, Plymouth State College and Keene State College. I received my BA from Cedarville University in Elementary Education with an Emphasis in Special Education. I completed more training through a teacher mentor program through Plymouth State College to gain my Special Education certification in NH. I took 9 credits towards my masters at Keene State in the area of Special Education.
