I earned my BA in music and was trained vocally for six years in sacred and secular styles of music. I also was trained for fourteen years in piano. I enjoy working with all children and getting to know them individually. As their teacher, I try to guide the students’ learning while focusing on their needs and goals. I am patient and respectful when I present new information to them and as we “work it out” together. I also try to encourage them to become motivated learners by showing appreciation for their efforts and providing plain but empathetic feedback. I recognize that children have different learning styles and may respond best to different approaches.
