I grade and help form the test bank for exams so I am well versed in how calculus and lower grades of math are formed on the test and can identify a typical test question so we can focus on what really counts as well as learning the material as efficiently as possible.

At first, I assess the student's strengths and weaknesses. Addressing the weaknesses I make sure the student knows the definition of terms and work and spend time working to get this in place. I go over text with the student, and address and clear up misunderstanding. I attempt to get the student to work sample problems and help him/her out only as needed.
