A Little Bit About Me...

During my undergraduate years, I started tutoring at the various tutoring centers on campus. I tutored science, mathematics, French, Spanish and Italian. That experience sparked my interest in teaching. At the end of my undergraduate studies, I applied and received the teaching opportunity program scholarship. In the last two years, I have worked as the dean of discipline in charge of maintaining a safe learning environment for over five hundred students.
All children have the ability to learn given the opportunity. I want to give them that opportunity by figuring out ways to convey my lesson to all my students. For the last 8 years I have been involved at some level in educating college students in general, analytical, and physical chemistry at the Florida State University. In 2001 I graduated from Coastal Carolina University with two bachelor degrees, BS in Marine Science and BS in Environmental Science. Both of these degrees required extensive studies in both math and science. While in college I tutored fellow students in science, math and English.
