I have a B.S. in Applied Mathematics from UW-La Crosse. I graduated in the spring of 2012. I was an on campus tutor and I tutored math from pre-algebra through Calculus II. I also have privately tutored algebra, pre-calc and AP Calculus. I have worked with students grade 5 all the way through the college level. I spent time volunteer tutoring in 2013 at the elementary/middle school I attended. I think it's very valuable to try different tutoring methods to see what works best with the student. I'm very open to adapting to the student's needs.

Rather than stressing rote memorization, I believe it is more important to relate overall concepts in a "partnering" style. I am a second year UW Madison student pursuing a math degree.
