I graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2007 from SUNY Brockport with an undergraduate degree in Elementary Education, English and Special Education. I have worked as a substitute teacher in all grade levels and in all subject areas. I have been accepted into a high degree Masters program but feel I need to have a job to justify the repayment(s) of additional student loans that would be needed to finish my MA. I have recently been a four county advocate for people with special needs as the Disabilities Program Navigator. I would still hold this position if funding had not run out. I have been tutoring and teaching since I entered college. I have helped multiple friends of mine through difficult classes that they needed for their degree. I have held many study groups for difficult upper level math classes that my peers struggled with. I was a teacher assistant for Calculus 1 where I held the largest study group on all of campus. The same thing happened as a student teacher at Amherst Middle School. I have taught private piano lessons to students from the ages of 6 - 13 for the last 3+ years.
