I have a degree in biochemistry, and have worked as both a lab assistant for general chemistry and organic chemistry as well as performed biochemical research in a laboratory setting twice during my undergraduate career. I spent the last year teaching English in China. I have experience teaching ESOL, and am experienced dealing learners of English of a second language. I studied Chinese during my stint there and am willing and able to tutor beginning students of the Chinese language who want to develop functional skills in Mandarin for career or personal development.
