Elementary Vocabulary Tutors & Teachers for Lessons, Instruction or Help in Strang, OK

Depending on the students learning style and the subject, my teaching style will differ. If the student is a visual learner than I will create PowerPoints and other visual aids to help them. If the student is kinesthetic than I may create a project for them to do (if the parent is ok with it), or I may have them interact more during the tutoring than with the visual learner. Lastly, if the student is an auditory learner than I will create/find videos for them to understand the material or create a song. Whatever way your child learns the best I will tailor an experience just for them. I have tutored many students in math, and a few students in English in the past. I am always able to adapt to how the student learns, and help them understand the material. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology and pre-medicine. I have experience working with children who have autism. Elementary education is important to me since it is the foundation upon which later learning is built. I believe that all students have strengths and weaknesses and that each child deserves the opportunity to succeed in school. While psychology was my primary area of study, I am excellent with reading, writing, and medical related sciences. Being a kinesthetic learner I am familiar with the challenges a traditional classroom setup create. I know how to help an introverted child move to the head of the class and tailor their study habits to their abilities. Reading is important at all ages and comes more easily for some than others.
