I have a total of 10 years active research experience in medical biological and basic biological research. I earned my PhD at the Institute for Pathology in Basel for medical biological research. Then I had postdoctoral appointments at Tulane University and Baylor College of Medicine. Also I taught introductory courses to biology students at the University of Basel, for which I received excellent student feed back.

I've always had a love of learning, and have naturally slipped into an informal tutor role with friends. During high school I took several AP tests and at the same time earned the International Baccalaureate diploma, so I understand very well the pressures involved. My two bachelor's degrees (Computer Science & Engineering) give me a strong foundation in math and science. I have experience as a teaching assistant for undergraduates.
