I believe that every student is different and not ever student learns the same. I like emphasis on visual education and demonstrations because they stick with you much longer than technical memorization of topics. Real life application is crucial to me as well, if you want to be pre med I like to tutor you with problems that are applicable to that field. I have designed and implemented training for visiting scientists at the USDA, organized and planned annual "Take Our Children to Work Day" events, taught a microbiology session to underserved youth at Alcorn State University, Alcorn Mississippi as part of the USDA's AgDiscovery program.
I have a BS degree in Animal Science, minor in Biology. I have 20 years laboratory service with the USDA- APHIS- National Veterinary Services Lab, during this time I became a certified Histotechnician, received a HACCP certified and attended ISU to continue my education in Microbiology.
