I am a recent graduate from the University of Florida from the College of Education with a BA in Elementary Education. I entered the ProTeach program during my junior year at UF. I have been exposed to a lot of teaching strategies and ideas that have been used in the classroom from the past until the present. I had the opportunity to use these practices in actual classrooms by developing lesson plans to teach elementary students. I have the experience of being the teacher in the classroom and working with students one-on-one with reading and math. I dont have a lot of experience with teaching children in a classroom environment, but I have a 5 year old, that I have to constantly teach different things besides what he learns at school.I have experience training physicians in a complex electronic medical records environment.
