My comments on tutoring Physics : I am quite knowledgeable of the basics (manipulation of position, velocity, acceleration equations, vectors, etc. and pretty much all of the topics covered up to PY 208); however, I must admit that I am a bit more hesitant on materials pertaining to Magnetism and Electricity.

I graduated from Ronald Reagan High School with a 4.6 GPA in the second graduating class ('08), then went on the NC State University to study Engineering, where I jumped in between various Engineering programs for three years before simply deciding to take a break and truly figure out what I want to study. While this may deter several people from choosing me, I know that if you met me and/or any of my teachers from any grade level, they/I could certainly set the record straight, as I am quite a smart person, I have simply struggled with getting my life into an appropriate schedule. As a graduate with an engineering related BS degree from North Carolina State University, my background intense in the maths and sciences. After entering the workforce for a few years, I took a few classes in education to acquire my teaching license in comprehensive science at the secondary level. I have taught primarily chemistry and physical science for 3.5 years, but have also taught biology and earth science. With chemistry being so math driven, I am confident and competent at math subjects such as algebra and algebra II to name a few.

I love working with children and had around 9 different children for a two year period while working at the mental health agency. They ranged from 3 years old to 16 years old. I recently graduated from Wake Forest University with a biology major and minors in economics and philosophy. In completing the premedical requirements I received a rigorous education in the basic sciences while still taking a broad spectrum of courses through my minors. I enjoyed and excelled most in genetics, organic chemistry, and biochemistry.
