My main goal is not to tell a student they are wrong, but to tell them how they can make the answer correct. Being that my mother is a teacher, I have picked up many of her techniques while tutoring in the peer tutoring program at my college. I believe that it helps a student more if they can be taught by someone who has a similar background to them and are similar in age. I can provide them with an easy way to learn biological concepts just as I've learned while I am in college.
As a senior at Benedict College obtaining my B.S. in Biology, I have gained a better understanding of the study of biology as well as other science-related subjects and math.
