A Little Bit About Me...

i had a lot of tutoring experience. I worked as a 2nd grade teaching assistant in an elementary school in Worcester, MA. Previous experience working in an English Day Camp as a teacher (ESL) in Hong Kong. I worked as a teaching assistant for International Trade at Purdue University. A Little Bit About Me...

I have a BS in Elementary Education. I taught first grade for 7 years, teaching reading, math, science, history and writing. I also tutored at Sylvan Learning Center for three years in Reading, Math (including Algebra I), Writing, Advanced Reading, ACT prep and Writing. I have a passion for Reading and believe students who are good readers can excel in any subject, including Math and Science. I have helped students in programs designed to foster success in middle school, high school and college. I am patient, make connections with most students and have been credited with putting many students on a successful path.

A Little Bit About Me...

I love to write. As a pastor, professor, and playwright, I have actively been writing for the past ten years. I have written hundreds of sermons, lesson plans, papers and newsletters. I have also written five plays for young adults, one of which was published. I earned a master's degree in Divinity, a bachelor's degree in Communication Arts with a minor in Psychology, and further graduate credit in Communication from Purdue. I currently teach Fundamentals of Public Speaking and Interpersonal Communication at Ivy Tech in Lafayette. In my free time, I perform improv with a local comedy troupe, I write for a web-series, I perform stand-up comedy, and I freelance as a joke writer for stand-up comedians.
