Jazz Dancing is one of my top subjects! I have taken and taught Jazz dancing. I have choreograph many dance numbers at recitals and competitions. I have done smooth soft Jazz and also fast up beat Jazz. I love the difference in how you can "Jazz" things up with Jazz.

I was enrolled in the Master's Program for Elementary Education at the University of Florida and volunteered over 300 hours in the public school system. I have only one year left before obtaining my advanced degree should I decide to return to school. I have also been a tutor and mentor for at-risk youth. I have volunteered with the public library and used to spend one day a week reading to children in foster homes. If I notice the student is having trouble answering the questions then I use a different teaching approach. I try to relate the questions to something the person has experienced in his/her culture.

I have worked with kids from the moment I graduated high school in 1999. I worked in many different areas teaching cheerleading, dance, and gymnastics. Although these are not curriculum built, this still took a lot of skill. Patience, organization, commitment, and teaching style was vitally important in my success. Dealing with kids ages 4 to 18 really showed me how to be a strong leader as well as a great communicator.
