I currently hold a bachelor degree in math education. I have been a reading and math tutor for the Pine Bluff School District for about ten years. I have worked as a math teacher at a detention center for boys for two years. I have worked as a six grade teacher for a private school. I also have worked as a math teacher for the Altheimer Public School in which I taught such subjects as geometry, algebra, and trigonometry. I also have tutored children at my church. I have a passion for children. I love working with children on a one on one bases. I am very energetic. I love the learning process of children. I very much enjoy teaching in a setting where the students feel comfortable enough to both learn and express themselves. I always find a higher success rate in the understanding and comprehension of the subject at hand under these circumstances. Currently I am a legislative analyst for the state of Arkansas and work daily with legislators to pass legislation. I also have experience teaching conversational English as a Second Language overseas to Chinese English-teachers. My strengths are writing research papers and essays.
