Organic Chemistry is one of my top subjects! Orgo can really throw people for a loop if they don't understand why the reactions are working the way that they do. I help my students really understand the reactions, not just memorize them. Most students who are having trouble with Orgo 2 didn't really learn their Orgo 1 basic concepts.

I obtained my Master's Degree with the intent to teach. I did teach for 3 years at a small Junior College, then moved into industry. However, even while I was working in industry, I tutored several students over the years. Several of my previous students have gone on to Pharmacy School, three have acquired their PharmD degrees. Another student has just completed her Physician's Assistant program at a very competitive institution. Chapter 31 VA Voc-Rehab Provider. I believe in teaching concepts and helping students fully understand ideals rather than students just memorizing facts. This way no matter what the professor asks they will know how to answer questions and ace exams. If they just memorize things, they can get confused and get answers distorted.
