Although I believe the FCAT is a test that demands respect, I do not teach to the FCAT. My instruction is differentiated for each child and if they are able to give me more, I push them to their ability. My goal for my students is to teach to the highest level they excel in using a variety of methods........I want my students to be well-rounded in their abilities, not just able to pass a test.
