My comments on tutoring Government : I have extensive experience teaching government and I have a master's in social studies.

My style is student centered. I always try to provide a positive atmosphere for learning. My jokes were a technique to help accomplish that goal. As a GED teacher I always began with a pretest and documented student progress to correct any deficiencies. I believe in positive reinforcement and helping students achieve their goals which gives us both a sense of accomplishment.
I am an honors graduate of U.S.F. with forty years of teaching experience. In addition to my B.A. and M.A. degrees, I completed all cousework for the ED.D. A Little Bit About Me...

As an undergraduate, I worked as a volunteer tutor in the Robles Park/Seminole Heights area for two years. I tutored kids in math, science, English, and social sciences.
