I graduated from Eastern Oregon University in 1988 and have taught elementary age for many years. I homeschooled my seven children part of that time and now they are responsible, successful people. Now I'm a retired elementary school teacher and have a half day preschool in the bottom of my home. It has it's own entrance and play yard. Love my kids! In our school, I teach sign language Zoophonics, curiosity using the inspired Reggio Emilia style, a unique method from Italy. We have lots of fun.

My teaching style is very simple, it's teaching people the concepts at hand in a manner they can understand, because some texts and instructions can be very confusing and over explained. My teaching style is to captivate the student's interest with hands on activities that demonstrate academic concepts. After the student understands the concrete real life connection, then we move into the abstract representation of the same concept in print. Each student has strengths and weaknesses that I try to understand and adapt lessons to their unique method of understanding.
