Everyone is an artist.

I have been teaching for the past two years in the art field and related. I taught at TIC Summer camp in the summer of 2012 how to use the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, etc.). I am currently working with an after school program that teaches children between the ages of 6 and 12 what goes behind videogame creation.
I use a personalized and 'hands-off'/demonstration style of teaching. I dislike telling a student that there is a certain method they should use, instead preferring to suggest and show how I would approach a problem or get them to approach a problem differently than how they are at that moment.

Illustrator and visual arts instructor

Hello! I admire all things in the visual arts field and most importantly educating those that are interested or have the desire to enhance their artistic creativity. I am a recent graduate from the VCU arts program, the number one public arts school in the nation. Drawing is one of my top subjects! Drawing has been - and will continue to be - my lifelong passion. I graduated from Northern Virginia Community College in 2010 with an Associate's Degree in Fine Arts, and I am highly experienced in various types of media. I am also an experienced tutor, and I have a great desire to share what I have learned with others.

I work well as a one on one special education aide because my attention is soley on the activities and education of my students. I am a laid back worker, and extremely patient because I find that if I allow myself to get out of shape, then I am not an effective teacher and aide, and my students will see this. I began tutoring at a Elementary School for a few hours when I was in high school as well as assisted other children with math and reading on an as needed basis. When I was away at undergrad school, I was able to work with local Elementary children, but it was not on a consistent basis.
