I received a technology degree in 1975. Several years later I returned to college to persue a Physics/Mechanical Engineering Degree from SUNY New Paltz and RPI. I was an "A" student in Physics and enjoyed tutoring many classmates. I was a guest lecturer several times at RPI. Due to work and family commitments I did not complete the degree. My wife and I homeschooled our children through the primary grades. I taught sciences. While an Employee at IBM, I wrote and taight technical courses. Physics is my forte and I love talking about and teaching the subject. I am especially helpfull to students challenged by word problems. Throughout college I would host study groups in Physics and Chemistry. I currently am a financial advisor.

My teaching style is replete with visuals and drawing an analogy from nature to help understand abstract concepts of science. I strongly believe students can grasp ideas instantly once they are able to relate textual information (i.e in books ) to a graphical content. Be it Maths or Physics or Chemistry...every complex problem can be broken down to the bare fundamentals which is what I stress upon always.
