I follow the "EDGE" method for teaching: Explain, Demonstrate, Guide, and Enable. I will explain the material, demonstrate it with an example, guide the student through working through a problem, and then enable the student to work independently while still being available for questions. I also try to connect what the student is learning to real-life applications, especially ones that resonate with the student's interests. I find that learning is most effective when the students can connect it to what they personally find meaningful.

I have been tutoring since I was in high school for math, and helped many peers and younger classmates. During COVID I worked with Free For All Foundation as an online tutor volunteer to help high school and elementary school students with their work. Since then I have been helping students (via online classes) across North America.
I tutor with a passion and slowly. Since it’s already a one-on-one meeting, I make sure my student understands and fully grasps the concepts at hand such that they can explain every step that I showed them back with clear understanding.
