I sincerely believe that all students are teachers themselves. At any age, youth have the unrestricted ability to create and imagine anything they want. As a teacher, I believe it is my duty to guide the youth to find these paths of creation. Specifically, I believe that a student of any age, of any background, and of any ability has the ability to succeed in a musical setting. Although I firmly believe in the classical teaching methods, I also highly regard the guidance of self-teaching methods that allow youth and adults to create. I love to work with children of any age. I have been volunteering for over 15 years helping wherever and whenever I can to help make the lives of children more enriched. I have two boys of my own (age 10 and 14) and have been successful in helping them achieve the best they can. I have been teaching kids as a substitute for many years and went back to school in my middle 30's to become a teacher.
