I first want to start out by saying that I have a passion for what I do. I have over seven years of experience as a tutor and mentor and it has been a very rewarding experience. A Little Bit About Me...

As a Health Educator I taught several middle school aged students the facts about Tobacco during their health and/or science classes. I taught this 2 week course throughout Trumbull County, Ohio for over a year while working as a Health Educator for the Trumbull County Health District. This 2 week course provided facts about tobacco, products, and self-esteem strategies.
Since most children learn differently it is essential to identify or utilize several teaching techniques. I like to use visuals, allow time for cooperative learning, and provide different types of auditory to ensure that my students are learning.

A Little Bit About Me...

I love teaching and interacting with today's young kids. They fascinate me. Every child has different learning systems and sometimes it takes several tries to reach that special spot that opens the child's eyes to what excites them about learning. The thrill that I feel when that point is found and theirs, (And my, excitement,)grows. There is no feeling in the world like that!

I didn't finish with that path, but I did gain much experience with children and knowledge during that time in working with students. I have worked and studied special needs children as well. I still consider going back for a Master's at some point in education. I think this job would be beneficial in my goals, and for my students, and a great learning experience for us both.

A Little Bit About Me...

I have a friendly teaching style; I use a lot of sense of humor. But, this takes a lot of hard work to achieve. The reason I am able to teach French grammar in a non-intimidating, almost very relaxing way, is because I had to master it.
