Mike's Guitar Studio is based on the belief that the students needs are of the utmost importance. The Studio is committed to meeting those needs. As a result, a high percentage of our business is from repeat customers and referrals. Lessons are catered towards what the student wants to learn. There is no one method that works for each student. Each student has different ways of learning, we recognize this and apply it to our teaching policy. The Lessons should be a fun and positive experience as the student progresses on his or her instrument. The primary instructor/ owner, Mike Benninger, has a B.M. in music performance from Keene State College and a M.M. in music performance from the Yale School of Music. Mike's Guitar Studio is located in New Windsor in Mike's Home Recording/Music studio. Recording can be an added tool for recording lessons, songs, pieces, and ideas.

I have been teaching Keyboard & Piano for 12 years. My teaching experience dates back to 2002, at age 18. I began teaching in studio lessons & continued to do so for about 2 years until I was offered a position at a small company to travel house to house to do private in home lessons all around Northern New Jersey. I encourage my students to practice regularly & have found that my interest in rock music has helped me make my piano classes fun & interesting.
