Generally I will try to ask questions to see which specific points a student needs assistance with and make sure they understand the material on a fundamental level. I also believe that practice and hands-on experiences teach the most, so there tends to be an emphasis on working through problems step-by-step than lecturing. Ultimately I am flexible, and can change my style and routine to accommodate the students' needs.
While at the University of Tulsa I have tutored in both math and chemistry, so I have experience with those subjects in particular. Though I received a bachelors in Psychology I was also pre-med, so I was required to take several heavy science courses as well. As such I am also proficient in several biological subjects.

Biology is one of my top subjects! B.S. Biology

When you study a biological concept your study process needs to be organized. Most of my tests when I started taking upper level courses covered over at least 100 to 200 pages in the textbook. You need to learn how to break it down in to smaller sections while using your notes from class to predict the most important information to know thoroughly for your next test. The ability to predict what will be on your test is what separates A from C students. I can also help you cram like a pro if your in a jam.
I have a degree in biology. I was planning on going to medical school at one point so I focused on human anatomy and human physiology. A Little Bit About Me...

After twelve semesters of college and a wide variety of courses, my college experience has left me with quite the education and still more to come. I am a Senior attending the University of Central Oklahoma pursuing a bachelor in Applied Computer Science. As a Physics major I have a deep understanding of both mathematics and multiple fields of science. During my time as both a high school and college student I have tutored privately in subjects such as: Physics I and II; College Algebra, Calculus I, II and III; Differential Equations and many more upper-level physics and math courses.
