How do I summarize teaching in my life? I guess the best way to explain my teaching experience is to tell you a story. As a young girl I wanted to be a teacher. Because of my love of learning I taught all my siblings how to read. I know it is pretty funny but it is a true story. For the last four years I have been at Cardigan Mountain School, where I taught English, Latin, Homeric Greek, ESL, and Ancient History. I collaborated with the English Dept., providing, via Power Point Lecture Presentations, the historical background to Tennyson’s epic account of the Light Brigade at Balaklava and Shakespeare’s Henry V, and, as part of the eight grade history seminar, I delivered a forty-minute lecture on Hitler and the Holocaust. A Little Bit About Me...

I have taught for over 25 years in settings as varied as inner city schools in NYC to a small public school in Arlington Vermont, and an elite private school at Stratton Vermont. I have taught remedial, basic, bilingual and honors level classes in Biology, Chemistry, and Environmental Science in class room settings. I have tutored various sciences and math, including Pre-algebra, Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2 on basic and honors levels. I have also tutored students for SAT prep in English and Chemistry.
