I took many Art classes in which I excelled at. I then took some Computer Technology classes and I loved it. So I figured I would put the two together and took Graphic Design classes. I loved it. I am very competent in using all sorts of Graphic Design programs. I got my first guitar around 8 years ago and just picked it up and learned it. I have been learning ever since. I think that it is important to find the types of learning that each student finds easiest to understand, and tailor the course so that it works well with their particular learning abilities. This can easily be done in a classroom setting as well as an individual basis.
