I am a native Chinese-Mandarin speaker, and have helped some of my friends on learning conversational mandarin. I graduated from Beijing Sports University, and now I have my own travel agency in El Monte, CA. I would like to be the volunteer Chinese tutor for a school, and I can do a few hours per week. Also, I know some of my Chinese speaking friends may join me to be the tutors. We do not have to get paid, but I hope we can help a group of studnets, more than just one student, to learn Chinese.

I first like to get to know my students and find out their learning styles. What's great about common core math is that they provide different methods to teach students how to solve a problem and in the end they choose which method works best for them. I love visuals and step by step directions to explain to my students. I find other ways to make they understand because I want my students to succeed of course. I've been working with the El Monte City School District for about 12 years now. I had worked with grades TK-6th mainly in math and English. I am fully aware of the common core state standards.
