Creative Writing is one of my top subjects! Creative writing, especially in English, is one of my favorite things to do. I see the world in terms of drama. I can teach you creative writing in a matter of minutes. I am very serious.

Patience, repetition, mini quizzes, and following a plan, pretty much summarize my teaching style. I also like to make my students comfortable, by being understanding, encouraging them to ask questions, and being very willing go over material that I have covered. My goal is to help my students improve their grades, and while doing that, to also help them love to learn.
I teach exactly how I study. I discovered as an undergraduate student that a student has to have a plan of action when taking any course. You cannot just study without a plan and expect to score highly in a test. My teaching method has been tried and tested by me,so much so that I have consistently scored highly in most of my courses from undergraduate through graduate school and into the doctoral program. My comments on tutoring Creative Writing : I've been writing since 2nd grade; I won a story contest in elementary school and was also published in the University of Cincinnati Medical School's World AIDS Day bulletin (2007). Writing is a beloved pastime of mine as well as an inherent strength.

Successful test prep retired English teacher

I recently retired from the HOPE School of Hamilton City Schools. The HOPE School is a credit recovery school that helps students get caught up for graduation. Students who are too far behind to complete graduation in a timely manner are given GED tutoring. I was in charge of this tutoring and tutoring for state standards tests. My comments on tutoring Creative Writing : I have a bachelor's degree in creative writing and poetry from the University of Cincinnati.

I prefer teaching one on one, but I could teach a small group.
I went to Princeton High School, and took American Sign Language throughout my high school career. My senior year, I also mentored a fellow student who was deaf when she came to my school for a class. I also took courses at UC and recieved a certificate in Deaf Studies.
