Previous students have often remarked on my practical teaching style, relying on real world examples and explanations for business and mathematics. The only way to remember information long term is to relate it to something tangible, especially in subjects like statistics and economics. I direct the student by asking questions and encouraging them to develop an understanding of why they are applying a certain method to solve a particular math problem. I use demonstrations to enable the student to visualize the math concept and relate it to their physical world and to experience its practical application in daily life.
