Previous students have often remarked on my practical teaching style, relying on real world examples and explanations for business and mathematics. The only way to remember information long term is to relate it to something tangible, especially in subjects like statistics and economics. Relating the ephemeral to the practical is important, and later allows for the information to be used in a real world setting much, much easier.

Throughout my 25 years working in business, I have enjoyed many opportunities to train, mentor and coach colleagues one on one. Many have been from another culture which adds to the delight of the learning experience as we work together. I originally trained as a tutor in the Rockingham County GED program in Exeter.
